About Petro-Uno

Petro Uno Resources Ltd. is a Calgary, Alberta based junior oil and gas company trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol PUP-V.  The company currently produces approximately 450 boepd net from long life, low decline, light oil properties in the Kindersley area of Saskatchewan and Lanaway area of Alberta.

Petro Uno is focused on increasing its production and reserves through the drill bit in the Viking resource play in West Central Saskatchewan and continues to pursue farm-ins and property acquisitions to expand our land base.

History

Petro Uno Resources Ltd. was incorporated under the Business Corporation Act (Alberta) on July 12, 2006 and started operations and financing in 2007.  On March 31, 2008, Petro Uno acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Ballater Resources Ltd., a private company incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta.  The acquisition of Ballater met the regulatory requirements of the qualifying transaction under terms defined by the TSX Venture Exchange.  The acquisition involved acquiring approximately 45 boepd of light oil production in Alberta.  Between October, 2009 and December, 2010, Petro Uno closed farm-in and acquisition deals in Saskatchewan totaling approximately 16,000 gross acres.  Petro Uno is a fully listed Tier 2 company on the Venture Exchange.
